Who are we? What is it?

My name is Tammy Usie, owner of Guerrilla Marketing and Promotions. As a public relations professioinal with over 10 years experience in buying media, graphic design, event production, and ad sales, I am pleased to provide the Columbus, GA Metro/FT Benning area with a FREE and handy parenting resource for all things kids and family, and one that works, both for readers and for advertisers!!

This full-color, fun-filled digest-sized magazine is designed to help parents make wise choices for things to do, places to go, and provide a resource for needed products and services through a visual shopping guide. In addition to the monthly calendar of local events, it also contains parening tips and advice with features such as Hoo's Healthy, Hoo Knows Parenting, Hoo's Inspired and Hoo's Fit. Plus there is more fun and creativity inside with our Coupon Craze, Kids Korner, Recipe Round-Up, and Craft Corner. We also provide resourceful info on choosing movies, planning parties, and dining out with the kids. But there is no need to wonder what it is like, just click on the front cover icon at the top and you can read it for yourself.

We distribute 12,000 copies  of HOO KNOWS® Family and Kids each month. Half of that is direct-delivered through area schools and welcome packets, but the other half is available at any Publix, Starbucks, Chick-fil-A or Max Gym in Columbus Metro/FT Benning area. Other pick up locations include pediatric, OB and dental offices, retail outlets, restaurants and attractions.
