HOO’s Homework Tips for Mom & Dad
How much to help is too much?
Children need to learn on their own, but
parents can help by creating an A+
homework environment.
- Make sure your child is well-rested, fed and attends school.
- Get specific. Ask about school as part of your daily routine.
- Set up a dedicated study area that’s quiet, well-lit and stocked with supplies.
- Establish a regular family quiet time where everyone studies.
- Everyone learns in different ways. They’ll do better when they are allowed to learn in the way most comfortable for them.
